merrymerrymerry

We continue to delight in the traditions that come with this season.

Last night was our annual Christmas Light Night.  Nasher got his pj's on and then we all loaded in the creeper.  After picking up friends, we headed to McDonald's for hot apple pies (so delightful this one time a year!) and coffee and began our Laramie Lights tour around town.  It was wonderful!

Merry. Merry. Merry. May your days be FULL!

The Countdown Continues

We are getting closer.
The smells. The excitement. The overflowing JOY.
We love this season!

Our hearts are reflective and my personal prayer is that the Lord will allow Himself to fully resonate within our home during this season of waiting.  Our Jesse Tree receives a new ornament each day and our hearts gain new understanding from scripture as we press on toward the wonderful day of Christ's coming.

This week our new play nativity arrived.  Handcrafted from a dear friend -- we LOVE it!  It's been such fun to watch as Nash plays with baby Jesus and learns more about the coming of our King!

We have enjoyed this season and adding new traditions into our home.  I am so grateful that I get the chance to be the wife and mama that I've always desired to be.

God is good -- ALL the time!

Have a great week!  Enjoy this sweet season of reflection!

cold cold go away!

Our house is infested with illness.
I'm so ready for it to go away!

Thankfully life continues even when not feeling well.
Today the family is headed to Greeley to enjoy a hotel room that dad has for work.  Even though we are feeling cruddy, we're hoping to enjoy this Friday night as a family.  I'm thinking The Muppets may just have to be on the agenda.  We'll see how dad feels after working a long day.

Happy Friday all!  Enjoy your weekend with your loved ones!
